Ich fotografiere nicht Körper. Ich fotografiere die Menschen, die sie repräsentieren.
I don’t photograph bodies. I photograph the people they represent.
Meine Bilder entstehen langsam. Ein Raum, eine Lichtquelle, ein Mensch, der für einen Moment aufhört, sich selbst zu beobachten. Ich forme das Licht so lange, bis es nur noch zeigt, was zählt: eine Linie, eine Haltung, einen Blick.
Nähe ist für mich keine Frage der Distanz, sondern des Vertrauens. Vor jedem Shooting besprechen wir, was entstehen soll und was nicht. Du siehst jedes Bild, bevor es jemand anderes sieht, und du entscheidest, was veröffentlicht wird.
Ob Portrait oder Akt: Mich interessiert die Form des Menschen, so wie sie ist. Die Linie einer Schulter. Die Ruhe in einem Gesicht. Das, was bleibt, wenn niemand posiert.
My pictures are made slowly. A room, one source of light, a person who for a moment stops watching themselves. I shape the light until it shows only what matters: a line, a posture, a glance.
Intimacy, to me, is not a matter of distance but of trust. Before every session we agree on what will be made and what won’t. You see every image before anyone else does, and you decide what gets published.
Portrait or nude: what interests me is the human form as it is. The line of a shoulder. The calm in a face. What remains when nobody is posing.
